The Pola Museum of Art collection of Oriental ceramics is made up of pieces mainly from China, Japan, and Korea. All are specifically for visual appreciation, in contrast to ceramics used for tea ceremony. The collection numbers around 200 pieces, among which are 160 systematically collected examples providing an overview of the history of Chinese wares. We hope that you will enjoy the artistry of each work, and appreciate the procession of history in the selection of splendid Chinese ceramics on display.
